Security: You Can Learn It

I don't know about you, but I researched to find out what others were doing to keep their blog secure, and when I secured my WordPress blog, I found so much information that I was completely confused. And some of the data was actually on superstitious or the top. People told me rename this folder to rename this file and install these ten plugins. It seemed to be a lot of work and energy.

Security plugins can be purchased by you for your WordPress blog. There are safety plugins out there that promises security for your own blog. One is called fix malware problem Scan. The system is continuously scanned by this plugin . It also updates the security that new hackers cannot penetrate the system.

You can look. You can easily restore your site with the use of your backup files and change everything that must be changed if hackers suddenly hack your site.

Exclude pages read the article - This plugin adds a checkbox,"include this page in menus", which is checked by default. If you uncheck it, the page will not appear in any listings of webpages (which includes, and is usually limited to, your webpage navigation menus).

What if you visit WP-Content/plugins, can you see that folder? If so, upload that blank Index.html file inside that folder as well so people can go to the website not see what plugins you have. Because even if your current version of WordPress is current, if you are using an old plugin or a plugin using a security hole, someone can use this to get access.

I prefer using a WordPress plugin to get the work done. Just make sure the plugin you select is in a position to do backups that are select, has restore functionality, and can clone. Be sure that it is frequently updated to keep pace. There is not any use in not functioning, and backing your data up to a plugin that's out of date.
